Shay is a native of Northwest Arkansas and has served in ministry for the past 30 years. Most recently, as pastor of Community Church in Union Missouri, a new church plant in 2021.

He has been married to the love of his life, Kriss for 33 years. Together they have two children: daughter Mati and son Kade.

Shay began in ministry as a singer/songwriter and worship leader. Eventually, serving churches as pastor, worship leader and Bible teacher in Arkansas, Oregon and Missouri.

As someone who has experienced the blessing and uniqueness of the ministry of K-LIGHT, he is thrilled to now be a part of it!

Joanna was voted “class clown” in high school and has been making people laugh ever since. She also hopes to infuse her humor with meaningful insights that point people to Jesus. Joanna has called North Bend home since 2008, where she lives with her husband and three daughters. 

Joni is originally from Washington, where she worked for KONP and KIKN Radio in Port Angeles, and for KMTT Radio in Seattle. Joni and her husband, Chris, moved to the Coos Bay area in 2015. They have 2 grown children, 1 grandchild and 2 (very spoiled) golden retrievers. Joni enjoys gardening and creating mixed media art in her free time.

Happy to be the behind the scenes, Seth can be found with his face in a computer screen or two. Editing audio files to get them ready for broadcast is what Seth spends most of his time on at K-LIGHT. Outside of K-LIGHT you will find him sitting at a table playing hobby board games with anyone willing to play!

Kim was a “D.J. Pioneer” on K-LIGHT’s very first day. Her first show, “Spot of Sonshine” played songs for teens & 20s. Later, Kim hosted a daily show, “Especially For Women.” 

Jane grew up in Northern Ohio and made her way to Coos Bay by way of Florida, Arizona, Gold Beach and eventually landed at K-LIGHT where she was known as "Jane down the hall".

After retiring, it is her joy to continue serving part time at K-LIGHT.
